SVIAZ 2026 Recap: Moscow, Data, and Our Manufacturing Reality

April 2026

I’ve just returned from Moscow after the SVIAZ exhibition. To be honest, I’m tired of all the fluff you usually see at these shows. Let’s cut to the chase—we didn’t go there to just hand out brochures. We went to show engineers and system integrators what we’re actually building in Shenzhen.

Why we’re different from the typical “storage brand”:

When people at booth 2H091 asked who we were, I didn't give them a marketing speech. I gave them our core stats:

  • 10,000 sqm of floor space, 8 SMT lines: We control the production. We hit 800K units a month, and we aren't subcontracting our quality control.

  • Real Manufacturing: We don't just put labels on pre-made drives. We handle everything in-house—from wafer grinding and dicing to semi-finished testing and BGA packaging. That’s how we can guarantee reliability for our eMMC, SSD, and memory card lines.

  • R&D Backing: We hold 75 patents. We aren't just manufacturers; we’re the guys tweaking the firmware to make sure these drives don't throttle when you put them under load.

  • Scale: With an annual output of 2 billion RMB and 100 million RMB in high-end equipment, we’re built for the long haul.

What we actually talked about in Moscow:

The conversations weren't about "Why should we buy Taimi?" They were technical deep-dives. We talked about how to handle thermal management in industrial environments and how to ensure supply stability when the market gets shaky. Our partners in Russia and Eastern Europe want to know if we can handle custom firmware tweaks for their specific projects. The answer is yes.

My take:

If you’re a buyer looking for a glossy brand name with a huge marketing budget, we’re probably not your fit. But if you’re looking for a partner who owns their own factory, knows their own firmware, and has the scale to keep your lines running—that’s us.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth to get into the details with us. We’re already following up on the projects we discussed.
